Artemis...

Having a hard time trying to find the perfect dining spot to impress your boyfriend/girlfriend? Fret not, I have just the place for you! Nestled on the 40th level of the CapitaGreen building, Artemis is a sky-high dining concept that offers carefully-curated Mediterranean-inspired cuisines at a very reasonable price. Named as one of the world’s most incredible rooftops by the BBC, Artemis is a romantic dining enclave for all lovebirds. Besides savouring the delectable dishes created by the talented Executive Chef – Fernando Arevalo, you also get to enjoy the scenic Singapore’s skyline. The top-notch service at Artemis completes the whole dining experience. So, surprise your partner with an elegant meal at Artemis today! He/she will definitely be amazed!

Look at my sumptuous spread at Artemis on Vesak day!

Before your mains are served, the staff will first offer you three different types of bread. I chose the flatbread and the walnut. The breads definitely paired very well with the Treurer olive which is only available at Artemis.

Only available at Artemis!

Freshly Shucked Oysters // $8 each
The picture tells it all. These succulent French oysters are fresh and juicy. It’s hard to believe but you can really taste the flavour of the ocean when you gulped down the oyster. A subtle saltiness which resembles the seawater. This is a must-try!

Smoked Eel // $26
Another pretty creation at Artemis. This dish is bursting with flavours – you have a little bit of sweet and savoury all at the same time. The smoked eel was definitely well-marinated and tender, and paired extremely well with the white asparagus and salty fingers.

Sylvain Erhardt // $26
Don’t judge a book by its cover. I thought this dish wasn’t going to impress me but I was wrong. The asparagus was not overly-cooked and it was super crunchy. The comte fondant (cheese which looked like mash) as well as the macadamia nuts complemented the asparagus very well.

Chargrilled Spanish Octopus // $22
The chargrilled octopus was aromatic and very flavourful. But one thing to take note, eat this while it’s hot. I took quite a fair bit of time taking photos of it and it became tough. The cherry tomatoes were very sweet and it balanced out the savoury flavour of the octopus. I want more of this!

Slow Cooked Iberico Pork // $46
Crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside, the slow-cooked Iberico pork was my favourite dish at Artemis that night. The pork was well-marinated and very flavourful. Eat it with the apple compote to achieve maximum pleasure. The portion was very satisfying as well.

Once you are done with your meal, they will serve you this complimentary dish. It’s a combination of beetroot and yoghurt. Because beetroot has an acquired taste, the yoghurt neutralises the overpowering flavour from the beetroot. So, it’s best to eat them together!

Panchineta // $26
Alcoholics will love this! Comprising of Vanilla Crème Patisserie (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, soaked with strong alcohol as well), Peach, Shiso Leaf, and Apricot Ice Cream (very aromatic), the Panchineta was the highlight of the night. Get your camera ready as this is a flambé dessert.

Isn’t the setting gorgeous?

Enjoying the beautiful scenery from the 40th level while sipping on a cocktail. That’s life!

Thank you Artemis for the wonderful dinner!
