Admit it, we are all cheese-lovers! Even though it is high in calories, we always add cheese into our food because it is very addictive. Here’s a piece of good news for all cheese-lovers. Nestled at Changi Road, Hook On Steamboat is offering free flow Cheese Fondue Buffet and it comes with an extensive range of premier ingredients. Some of you might be worried about feeling jelat after a while but trust me, you will be obsessed with it. The Cheese Fondue is a mixture of Parmesan and Nachos Cheese - tried, tested and approved by all of us. Besides, they also have a good selection of different flavoured ice cream for you to end off your meal. It is definitely the place to chill, eat and drink after a stressful day of work!

Just look at that huge load of cheese! We were all exhilarating with joy when the cheese fondue was served onto our table. The aroma filled up the entire restaurant. It definitely complemented the barbecue food very well.

The buffet is very value-for-money!

As mentioned earlier, the cheese fondue is a combination of Parmesan and Nachos cheese with the latter stronger in flavour than the other but I’m not complaining. They were well-mixed – I’m in love with the texture and consistency of the fondue!

Some of the premier ingredients they offer. Didn’t manage to take all of them because I was keeping myself busy with the mouth-watering food and cheese. My favourites were the marinated pork collar, pork belly, clams and scallops. Also, all the seafood are picked freshly daily by the owners at 2am!

With so many selections to choose from, you will be spoilt for choices!

Also, this is one of the rare steamboat places that offers so many different flavoured ice cream (six of them) and they are not the cheap kind. The hot favourites were the Paddle Pop and Mango flavour.

Nothing really fanciful but Hook On Steamboat was really very cosy. A good place for family to spend some quality time together.

This is it! This is the perfect giveaway for my mum and i! I simply love bbq and seafood to the core and my mum never leave mercy during buffets (i rmb once she told me to wear a loose dress so i can eat more during the buffet hahaha). Trying my luck to see if I could win this to bring the most important woman in my life who is none other than my mummy. She's the person who showed me how to give and take. I learned from her that giving is a lot harder than taking, but the former is much more satisfying when it is done. She told me that giving makes one happy. I am sure she is right because half of her life, she has been giving others what they need, and in spite of all that years of giving, she is happy. My mum is 1 who dun bear to splurge her $ eating at restaurants, she will only eat from hawker or coffee shop as she rather save up her $ to help those needy or spend $ to buy better stuffs like organic ingredients to cook for us.
