Mandarin Orchard...

Two more months to the festive of giving and feasting! Yes, Christmas is just around the corner and it's time to feed yourself with roasted meats and delicious log cakes. Christmas came earlier for me this year as I was recently invited to Mandarin Orchard’s Christmas Party and it did not fall short of my expectations. The ballroom was brilliantly decorated and the dessert spread was astonishing. There were also live stations for the guests to enjoy a wide range of different roasted meats.

These were some of the many exquisite desserts prepared by Mandarin Orchard during the Christmas party. There were so many jaw-dropping desserts for the guests to choose from and I didn’t know where to start. Not only were the desserts beautiful on its own, the plating was also very impressive. It feels like I’ve stepped into the realm of a fairy tale. It was very magical.

Doesn’t this feels like Hansel & Gretel (of course, without the witch)? This was the first thing that caught my attention when I entered the ballroom. I couldn’t stopped taking photos of it. How to eat this? It is really so pretty! A lot of thoughts must have been put into creating this entire dessert table! Very remarkable!

Here are some of the exquisite desserts on display at the party. It was phenomenal! All the guests were spoilt for choices. We don't even know where to start!

Oven Roasted Berkshire Pork Rack with Yuzu-Himalayan Salt Crust

The only picture I have for the live station at the Christmas party. I didn’t manage to take the other live stations because it was already filled with people. The roasted meats were delicious, especially tender and the in-house sauce complemented the meat very well. The roasted beef (which sadly I didn’t get to snap a photo of it) was so tender and chewy. It was also very well-marinated!

Cherry Yuzu Lava Chocolate

The dessert was my favourite out of the 3 course that was served to me. The colourful balls had melted chocolate inside which melts instantly when it was in my mouth. The tart was crunchy and not too sweet. It was simply amazing! A piece of art, to be exact!
