Pan Pacific Orchard: Pearl of Orient Penang Fiesta at 10@Claymore

10@Claymore...

Located at Pan Pacific Orchard Singapore, 10 at Claymore has always been my favourite to-go buffet places if I’m feeling stressed or vexed. The sumptuous buffet spread never fails to cheer me up each time I dine there. Now, 10 at Claymore is bringing back its popular ‘The Pearl of Orient’ – Penang Fiesta which made its debut last year, and will stay for a good three months from 1st March to 31st May 2017. During the Fiesta, you will get to enjoy an extensive range of authentic Penang dishes and desserts, carefully-curated and designed by a team of chefs hailing from Penang. Besides the Penang delicacies, 10 at Claymore is also serving their assortment of fresh seafood which is FREE FLOW!

Executive Chef Andy Oh and his team has promised an even more exciting offering this season, adding new dishes such as the tangy, spicy Assam Curry Fish, and the traditional Penang Bak Kut Teh that has a well-balanced herbal flavour (made up of several expensive herbs such as Dang Kui and Ginseng Roots) and is definitely one of the dishes that caught my immediate attention. Also, the huge selection of Penang desserts will make you go cray cray because you simply don't know where to start from. So, hurry and bring your families, friends or colleagues for a great and authentic Penang feast before it all ends! It is really very value-for-money!

In frame, the different mouth-watering Penang dishes you can find at the buffet at 10 at Claymore. Besides the Penang dishes, there is also an extensive spread of fresh seafood for you to choose from. Trust me, you will be spoilt for choices!

These are some pictures that I took at the Pearl of Orient - Penang Fiesta at 10 at Claymore. If you want to find out more about the buffet, you should really head down to try it! The ambience is also classy and cosy!

The whole environment just completes your entire dining experience! Just sit back and relax while you indulge in the Penang dishes!

Popiah & Kueh Pie Ti
Hei bi hiam lovers will love this! Very generous servings of Hei Bi can be found in the Popiah and Kueh Pie Ti!

Like what I mentioned earlier, other than their Penang dishes, they also have a wide range of fresh seafood for you to choose from.

Here comes my favourite section – DESSERT SELECTION

Durian Crepe with Rum & Raisin Ice Cream & Lemongrass Ice Cream

Look, even this boy is so happy with his crepe! Thank you Pan Pacific Orchard for inviting me! I really enjoyed myself!

Portico Host: New Brunch Menu Only Available On The Weekends & Now Opens On Sunday

Portico Host...

It’s the start of the work week again and I’m already thinking of where to go during the weekends. I’m actually quite looking forward to the weekends this week because Portico Host will be launching their newest brunch menu this Saturday, 11th March 2017 and it will only be available on the weekends. Adding to the good news, Portico Host is now open on every Sunday from 9am-5pm.

Located in a hidden corner at Alexandra, Portico Host is a stark contrast to its sister outlet, Portico Prime in terms of price, food and ambience. At Portico Host, you can expect to find more Western dishes at a very affordable price (ranging from $10-$30). The garden-themed concept of the café also makes it a popular place for people to take OOTDs (outfit of the day). So, mark your calendar for brunch this weekend at Portico Host! You wouldn't want to miss all the beautiful & mouth-watering spread!

Who doesn’t want to wake up to a table full of surprises? In frame, Cigar Scramble Egg, Host Big Breakfast Pan, Brioche French Thick Toast, Wagyu Beef Burger and Nyonya Crepe. Portico Host also serves really good coffee! That's how a weekend should be spent!

Granola // $15
Served in a jar, the granola which comprises of fresh berries, marble yoghurt, oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruits is freshly made everyday. This tasted extremely good when it is eaten cold and can get real addictive if you are a fan of granola. The combination works perfectly and you can easily finish it all by yourself without having to feel guilty since it is very healthy. Highly recommended to get this and it is super Instagram-worthy!

Fluffy Hot Cake // $15
This fluffy hot cake is just too pretty to be eaten! It is made up of Mable Mascarpone, Assorted of Fresh Berries, Oat Crumbs, Sunflower Seeds and Petit Greens. The portion is huge and is definitely meant for sharing. Like its name, the hot cake is soft and fluffy. The different ingredients added on top of the hot cake complements the hot cake very well, adding more texture – crunchiness to the overall dish! Again, this is another very Instagram-worthy dish!

Egg Lava // $15
The egg was definitely on point, super runny! The rosti was still crispy even though it was left on the table for quite a while because we were all busy snapping photos of it!

Bangers & Mash // $24
This is the comfort food I need! Made up of Chorizo, Veal, Chicken Sausage, Idaho Mash, Caramelized Banana Onion and Veal Jus. I believe this dish will be very popular among the kids as well!

Host Big Breakfast Pan // $24
This is one sumptuous big breakfast. I was very satisfied with the generous portion they served! Love the bacon and roasted potatoes!

Brioche French Thick Toast // $15
Three huge piece of French toasts drizzled with berries and it is legit delicious. Some people may find it too sweet but I thought it was just right! Brunch should be sweet isn’t it?

Nyonya Crepe // $12
People who loves pandan and coconut will love this! It has a strong coconut flavour and the texture is very chewy!

Wagyu Beef Burger // $18
The beef was tender and juicy. The chef also added peanut sauce onto the patty which made the whole burger stand out! Reminded me of satay!

So, bring your families and friends for a sumptuous brunch feast this weekend! You won’t be disappointed!
