Mookata...

"Innovation is the key to success." - The Times

In order to differentiate themselves from the rest as well as to further tantalise the taste buds of Mookata lovers, the leading and pioneer restaurant chain for Traditional Thai BBQ introduces its all-new creation that sets to delight even the toughest of foodies – the Mookata Cheesy Grill sets (which I presume they got their inspiration from the famous James Cheese Back Ribs in Korea), available exclusively at the Bugis Junction outlet from 1st June 2016 onwards.

Served in either a set for 2 to 3 person at 57.90 ++ or for 3-4 persons at $64.90 ++, Mookata continues to retain its pocket-friendly prices for premium ingredients and seasonings, which also include brand new additions to the menu such as Baby Back Pork Ribs and Purple Scallops.

With a decent array of food choices such as Pork Collar, Chicken Thigh, Bacon Enoki Wraps, Bratwurst Sausages, Bak Kwa and Kernel Corn to choose from, Mookata is one great place to unwind after a hard day of work or even a simple catch up with your families and friends.

Loaded with creamy mozzarella and cheddar cheese (which I combine both and mix them together)oozing through the troughs of the traditional Mookata grill, foodies can exercise their creativity by choosing which food item pairs the best with the cheese.

My favourites were definitely the Cray Fish, Bak Kwa, Bacon Enoki Wraps and the Bratwurst Sausages and of course, the melted cheese enhance the flavour and taste of each food item!

Look at that oozing cheese mixed with Kernel corn! But I gotta admit, it was not easy to cook the cheese! I had a hard time at the beginning because the cheese was either too burnt or too fried. It was so difficult to achieve that melted consistency throughout our entire Mookata experience.

I also had a hard time cooking the Baby Back Pork Ribs because it is taking forever to be cooked. I gave up in the end because it was really taking too long. If you are a Mookata expert, or have a friend who can cook Mookata very well, by all means order the ribs. But if you can't, I would advice you to skip the ribs and order other food. Cooking the Purple Scallops were also not easy at all, I had to dig the scallop out of the shell to cook it but it always turned out to be so burnt. I gave up along the way! But the other food item was still manageable and the melted cheese complemented them very well.

With any order of the Mookata Cheesy Grill set, customers can get a serving of Cray fish (4 pieces) at an unbearable price of $12 ++ for a limited time only. I would get them if I were you because the Cray fish was really fresh and it pairs very well with the melted cheese!

The Cheesy Grill is also available as an add-on for buffet customers at an additional $3.50++ with a free flow of mozzarella and cheddar cheese to complement menu items from the buffet line!

Thank you Mookata, Serynn and Affluence PR for the invitation.
