Atmosphere Bistro at East Coast Park: Returns with Brand New Instagram-Worthy & Mouth-Watering Menu

Atmosphere Bistro...

Situated at East Coast Park, Atmosphere Bistro returns with a brand new menu that features an extensive range of Instagram-worthy and mouth-watering Western-fusion dishes. With the inclusion of a new Head Chef, the new menu is definitely a notch higher than the one they had previously, in particular the flavour and presentation of every dish.

Away from the hustle and bustle, Atmosphere Bistro is the perfect location for all sorts of occasion. It is a good chill-out spot for a drink with your friends, as well as a wonderful place for family outing and bonding. Kids will be extremely excited because there is an “Angry Bird” theme playground within the bistro. So, parents can have a drink or two while letting their kids loose in the playground. Atmosphere Bistro also screens movie during the weekends (The last time I was there, they showed ‘Spiderman’). Definitely worth checking this place up!

Aren’t the dishes very Instagram-worthy? Some of you might be sceptical about dishes that are beautifully plated and presented but fret not, the dishes at Atmosphere Bistro are also very pleasurable to the taste buds. In frame, featuring only less than half of Atmosphere Bistro’s new menu, Mega Platter ($38.80) that consists of Grilled Baby Octopuses, Pork Bratwurst, Italian Sausage, Chicken Cheese Sausage, Shishamo, Prawn Paste Chicken Wings, Mini Prawn Fritters & Nacho Chips, Grilled Whole Squid ($10.80), Garlic Butter Mussels ($14.80), Takonomiyaki Waffle ($16.80) and Flaming Pizza (*Contains Alcohol*) ($23.80).

Fruit Teas // 9

You can choose three different fruit teas - Strawberry Tea, Green Apple Tea and Rainbow Tea. My favourite was the Strawberry Tea because it was well-mixed and very refreshing. It wasn’t too sweet as well! The Green Apple Tea tasted a little too artificial for me while the Rainbow Tea was a little bland for me.

Garlic Butter Mussels // $14.80

Whole Shell Blue Mussels in Garlic Butter Cream served with Roti Prata

The mussels were not over-cooked, and the sauce was rich and creamy. The buttery flavour was strong but it was not overwhelming, definitely goes very well with the mussels and crispy Roti Prata. The combination was good!

Mega Platter // $38.80

At only $38.80, this Mega Platter comes with Grilled Baby Octopuses, Pork Bratwurst, Italian Sausage, Chicken Cheese Sausage, Shishamo, Prawn Paste Chicken Wings, Mini Prawn Fritters & Nacho Chips. My favourites were the flavourful Prawn Paste Chicken Wings and the three different types of sausages. Definitely a platter that calls out for a tower of beer!

Mains

German Pork Knuckle // $36.80

1kg Hind Shank Grain Fed Pork Knuckle served with Mash, Mixed Salad & Whole Grain Mustard

This huge German Pork Knuckle was well-marinated, crispy and flavourful. Meat wasn’t very dry nor tough, and it was very ‘shiok’ to eat. Dip it into the mash and mustard sauce for maximum pleasure. The mixed salad rids off the greasiness from the pork knuckle. Can I have an iced cold beer to go with this?

Mentaiko Pulled Pork Burger // $24.80

Brioche Bun, Pulled Pork, Shredded Carrots, Wild Rocket, with Mentaiko Mayo & Fries

Generously drizzled with mentaiko sauce, the Pulled Pork Burger was one of the highlight of Atmosphere Bistro’s menu. The mentaiko sauce was strong, salty and complemented the pulled pork very well. Another thing worth mentioning was the deadly addictive fries!

Waffle Burger // $21.80

The Waffle Burger was surprisingly yummy! Initially, we thought the waffles were going to be dry and bland but it turns out otherwise. Beef patty was well-marinated and well-cooked!

Lava Cheese Burger // $24.80

Brioche Bun, Deep Fried Camembert Cheese Beef Patty, Grilled Tomatoes, Gherkins, Wild Rocket, Caramelised Onions, served with Barbeque Mayo & Fries

Cheese-lovers will fall in love with this! It is both pleasurable to the eyes and taste buds. Get your camera ready to capture the oozing cheese when you cut the patty open. Again, the beef patty was well-marinated, tender and juicy. A must-try!

Takonomiyaki Waffle // $16.80

Buttermilk Waffle, Baby Octopuses, Okonomiyaki Sauce, Mayonnaise, Topped with Cheese & Bonito Flakes

The waffle was soft and fluffy, with the baby octopuses drenched in delicious and addictive Okonomiyaki sauce. I can eat this all by myself!

Premium Seafood Rice Bowl // $24.80

Tiger Prawns, Cod Fish, Scallops, Baby Octopuses, USA Asparagus, Cherry Tomatoes, Caramelized Onions, Sauteed Mushrooms and Alfafa served with Garlic Butter Sauce

The Seafood Rice Bowl was damn value-for-money! It comes with a huge servings of seafood, with the tiger prawns and scallops being my favourites!

Flaming Pizza // $23.80

Prawn, Salami, Capsicums & Assorted Mushrooms on flame

Get your camera ready as the staff is going to flambé the pizza. The pizza has a subtle alcoholic flavour which some may either like it or dislike it. Personally, it wasn’t my ‘thang’!

Desserts

Coconut Cheesy Toast // $14.80

Crispy Toasted Bread Stuffed with Mozzarella Cheese served with Coconut Ice Cream on top of Corn Flakes, Coconut Flakes & Drizzled in Gula Melaka

You definitely can’t finish this alone! The oozing cheese was sinfully delicious, paired very well with the toast and Coconut Ice cream!

Chocolate Lava Cake // $14.80

Atmosphere Signature Warm Chocolate Cake with Molten Core, served with Berries, Crushed Peanuts & Vanilla Ice-Cream

The Chocolate Lava Cake was rich, chocolatey and moist. It could have been better if the lava was thicker!

Matcha Lava Cake // $14.80

Atmosphere Signature Warm Matcha Cake with Molten Core, served with Azuki Red Beans, Crushed Peanuts & Vanilla Ice-Cream

I preferred the Matcha Lava Cake as compared to their Chocolate one. The matcha flavour was strong and aromatic. The matcha lava sauce was rich, not overly sweet and has a subtle bitter aftertaste. The ice cream paired well with the lava cake!

Black Pearl // $16.80

Coconut Ice Cream, Coconut Flakes & Mixed Berries encased in Chocolate Sphere, served with warm homemade Gula Melaka Sauce on Flame

Another pretty dessert that you have to take videos of it! If you are an alcoholic and chocolate lover, you will probably love this!
