The weather has been very cranky lately. One moment it starts to pour and the next moment it’s blazing hot. I believe most of us (including myself) are constantly on the lookout for cooling/refreshing desserts to combat the unbearably scorching weather and I might just have the best place for you.

Located outside Plaza Singapura, WooW is a hipster dessert house that is known for its Instagram-worthy Rainbow Snow which comes in 7 different flavours in a single flower cup. Recently, they have also rolled out a healthier option - Rainbow Snow 2.1 version with lesser sugar for the health-conscious crowd. It’s been a year since I’ve last visited WooW and honestly, they have improved by so much. The Rainbow Snow, in particular, was way better than the rendition they had in the beginning. Definitely a life-saver in times of scorching hot weather!

We were greeted with this colourful welcome drink and it was surprisingly refreshing! If you have been following my blog closely, you will know that I’m always very cautious and sceptical about coloured-changing teas because they are usually bad. But this was surprisingly good and it was not overly sweet!

Rainbow Snow

Honestly, I had their Rainbow Snow when they were fairly new and it was very bad. Ice was not fine, flavours were not strong enough and it wasn’t really very value-for-money! However, the improved version left me very impressed. Flavours were stronger and the ice was so fine that it literally melts in the mouth. Paired with a generous scoop of ice cream, I can’t even remember how hot the weather is. A must-try!

WooW Eggy

This was the bomb! Bread was soft and fluffy, with the egg being so runny and the mentaiko mayo sauce so damn addictive. Combination was legit deadly!
