With less than a month to Christmas, how well-prepared are you? Besides shopping for Christmas decorations and gifts, have you found any suitable place to hold and celebrate Christmas? As Christmas is one of the rare occasions to commemorate your achievements for the past one year, most people would prefer to celebrate it at a posh restaurant.

Morganfield’s Christmas menu this year is beyond impressive, and it is relatively affordable. Not only do they cater to the family crowd, their mouth-watering meat dishes would also satisfy meat-lovers. Located at Vivo City, Suntec City and Star Vista respectively, Morganfield's is the restaurant to spend your Christmas this year with your loved ones.

Candied Bacon / $9.90

I think this would be a hit among the kids. The candied bacon is huge and sweet, and it tasted very similar to Bak Kwa. It is well-marinated (strong smoky flavour) but overall a tad too sweet for me (maybe I’m getting older). All in all, good for sharing!

Cranberry Sticky Bones // $29.90 (Half Slab) & $45.90 (Full Slab)

Morganfield’s has always been known for their delectable pork ribs – soft, tender and hence the name “Sticky bones” (you can eat the bones as well). And with that said, I have a high expectation for the ribs at Morganfield’s. I was super excited when I heard that they were launching two new flavours and the Cranberry Sticky Bones caught my attention. The flavour of the cranberries were strong but not overpowering. It also has a subtle smoky flavour which complements the cranberries flavour very well. The meat was like what I said earlier, soft, tender and juicy. I was really impressed! This is a must-try!

Hazelnut Sticky Bones // $29.90 (Half Slab) & $45.90 (Full Slab)

If I were to choose between the Hazelnut and the Cranberry Sticky Bones, I would pick the Cranberry flavoured one. The Hazelnut Sticky Bones would have been better if the Hazelnut taste was more distinct and perhaps stronger. Other than that, it was pretty tasty. Again, the meat was not dry but very juicy.

Black Angus Beef Rib // $89.90

I’m usually not a beef person but I was more than willing to eat the Angus beef. The meat was well-marinated and it was very addictive, especially the smoky BBQ flavour which lingers in my mouth. The meat was tender and juicy. Very yummy. Even though three different sauces (Mustard, Hickory BBQ & Red Wine Reduction) were provided, I still prefer to eat the beef without dipping it into any sauce.

Roast Chicken // $32.90

The roasted chicken was humongous! My eyes were wide open when they served it onto the table. Just my looking at the shiny and glazing skin, saliva is already forming in my mouth. The chicken was heavily spiced - I could definitely taste the herbs used in marinating the chicken. The flavour was on point but I thought the skin could be crispier. The meat itself was tender and juicy!

Crackling Pork Roast // $38.90

The pork belly was very sinful but I couldn’t stop myself from eating it. The top layer was very crispy and the middle portion was so fatty. Yummy!

Morgan's Christmas Feast // $149.90

Here comes the real deal! This Christmas platter which consists of
